European Commissioner Dacian CioloÅŸ, presented his proposals for reform of the Common Agricultural Policy on 12th October.
Agreement will have to be reached between the European Parliament and the Council, in the form of the agriculture ministers from the 27 member states of the EU, by early 2013 if the new CAP is to be in place on 1st January 2014.
