US entry fee obstacle for EU citizens. Manfred Weber MEP, Simon Busuttil MEP and Ernst Strasser MEP
From today, travellers have to pay a 14 US Dollar state fee to enter the United States of America. Manfred Weber MEP, Vice-Chairman of the EPP Group, Simon Busuttil MEP, EPP Group Coordinator in the Committee of Civil Liberties, and Ernst Strasser MEP consider that this fee is unjustifiable and creates an obstacle to transatlantic relations. They therefore call upon Commissioner Cecilia Malmström again to take prompt action against these measures.
